Laksmi Pamuntjak’s Reflections on the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child (CRC)

In June 2019, UNICEF asked Laksmi to collaborate with them in their campaign to mark the upcoming 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in November 2019. They asked Laksmi to help them envision some of these CRC articles. Inspired by photos and images from their database, and working with their program specialists, Laksmi created 15 fictional texts, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, on some of the most relevant articles for the Indonesian context. These articles include the right of every child to education, name and nationality, health services, food, clothing, clean water, good nutrition, a safe home, and protection from violence.
