In this special event, the full-length screening of the award-winning movie adaptation of Laksmi Pamuntjak’s bestselling novel, “Aruna dan Lidahnya,” will be followed by a lively Q&A between the author and the renowned and beloved Chef Bara Pattiradjawane. Throughout the screening you can sample mouthwatering homey dishes created by Chef Bara inspired by the novel and the movie.

Aruna dan Lidahnya is the film adaptation of Laksmi Pamuntjak's best-selling second novel of the same title. Directed by award-winning director Edwin, starring Dian Sastrowardojo, Nicholas Saputra, Hannah Al Rasyid and Oka Antara, it won two prizes at the FFI (Film Festival Indonesia) 2018, for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor, and received its European premiere at the Berlinale in 2019. Today we will watch the film screening at the Main Hub while enjoying Chef Bara Pattirajawane's culinary feast inspired by dishes featured in the novel and the film.
